I am looking for one of those float switches. The kind that turn on and off an electrical outlet whenever the float falls on the barrel. I woke up this morning o find 2" of water in my living room. I want to take one of those float switches and turn the float upside down and put it in my sump. Then when the water in the sump falls below its NORMAL level it will turn on that ourlet. I am gonna get some sorta alarm then plug it into the outlet from the float. That way when the water gets low in the sump for any reason it will sound that alarm and hopefully wake me up. Let me know if you have one and would be willing to part with it. Hit me up with a PM with what you have and a price. Or if you have a better idea on a low water leel alarm that would be good too. I have spent the last 2 hours cleaning up water and trying to figure out where exactly it came from. I want to avoid that if at all possible in the future.
