Looking for a nice coral

I'm in the market for one nice, largish piece (iow, not a tiny frag). Some things I'm considering:

Any neon green softies...leathers, toadstool..??
Red colt coral
Galaxia
Fungia plate
Pagoda
Blueberry gorgonia maybe??
Purple digitata

No frogspawn or hammers. maybe a torch, though. No caps or encrusting montis.

I'm really open to ideas, but it needs to be pretty nice. I'm being picky. Looking for something between $25 and $100, btw.

Hi Amanda,

I have a huge (at least 12 inches) toadstool leather. I'm looking to find it a new home. It's taking up alot of space. I also have a leather finger that needs a home. Pm me and we'll wheel and deal. I can send pics via email.

Only interested in a toadstool if it's neon green or something. I already have a real nice, huge pinkish one. Same for the finger leather...no pinkish or peachish colors. I need something that will contrast with my Toadstool, Devil's Hand, Sinularia, and Xenia.

Look at this pic in the far left corner. I have a neon green Sinularia I can part with. Send me a pm if you are interested.

Thanks, David

Ya know, I love them, but I just can't picture a good spot for them. If they're already on a rock, and I can just set the rock in the tank, I'd go for it.

i have some on a rock but both of my pieces are on one rock.each one has at least 10 heads and they are starting to outgrow the area i had allowed for them.i only want to get rid of one set of heads.i can glue them to a new rock if you want them.

Prices? Willing to meet in Tampa (like at FAOIS)?

BTW, something in a DARK pink would be good, too. Like this..

Tell him to post here! I've already committed to a $50 piece so far, so he better hurry before I find something else. LOL

I've got some 3-4 inch German Blue digtata. Under 250 watt or higher MH, they have a blue base with purple polyps. I'm in Fort Myers, though. We are have a BIG frag auction on October 11. As soon as we get the gallery posted on our website, I plan on making announcements to all of the clubs south of Orlando.

FYI, I'll probably bring some to Brians house in November.

If you make it this far south before then, shoot me a PM. I've got lots!!!!

I know this thread is from a few days ago but FAOIS has some very nice Blueberry Gorgonia. I just picked one up today from them but they had a few more. I also see that fordna is from Zephyrhills, I am from Wesley Chapel. Any good advise for a LFS near us?

Haha! Too funny. I got the last "large" priced one they had today! Had a heck of a time picking a spot for it, and I'm still not sure about its spot yet, but it's just what the doctor ordered!

I go to FAOIS unless I need something freshwater related. I tried to go to that one on Crosscreek last Saturday....pulled up their hours online and went out of my way to go there, and they closed 2 hours earlier than the website said. 6pm and I was there at 6:30. I was not a happy camper. I do plan to go back, though, and check it out. A few people on here have mentioned it. Fins and Fur or something..

That place on 54 - Scales and Wings or vice versa - is HORRIBLE. I wouldn't buy a filter pad there.

There's several members here that live in central and east Pasco, so if you can find frags and stuff close by. :)

It freezes up when I try to edit, but I meant that to say that the NEW closing time is 6pm. The website said 8pm.

So you bought a Blueberry earlier today? The owners wife said she had a really nice one that had went earlier in the day, how funny is that. I have been to the one in Cross Creek, they are clean but seem to be pricey. Not a really big selection either. Mystic Marine in Odessa isnt' too bad but by far FAOIS is the cleanest I have seen. Have you been to Corral Coral yet, they are pretty good too. Was sure hoping we had something closer more similiar to FAOIS that I didn't know about.

Yes, that was me. Too funny! I went to Mystic Marine a few months ago, but it takes just as long to get there as it does to get to FAOIS, so it's a no brainer. LOL And if I need FW stuff, I stop at Marine Warehouse along the way.

If you ever just need small stuff, Pet City at Collier Parkway is okay. I wouldn't buy livestock there, though. I used to get my dog food there til I found it closer.
