Just like the subject says, I am looking for a pair of perc. or ocellaris clowns. I would prefer that they be adult, I also would like a host with them if possible, I understand this might just be dreaming. If a hosting pair is not avalible have any of you guys had much luck getting them to host in a RBTA.

I saw a bunch of young ocellaris clowns at Coral Reef Aquatics. They also have a few other types of clowns. I don't know if they have a paired up adult ones right now, but you can call them to find out. I have seen a paired clowns hosting an anemone there before. The poor anemone was way too small and getting squashed.

As for getting them to hose an RBTA, I don't know. My paired up clowns don't host anything, but I am afraid of getting an anemone that wonders around my tank stinging everybody in the way... Do you know how to persuade one to stay put?

Getting them to host is up in the air.. They should but sometimes they just wont.. I've got 3 BTA in our 180 but my pair of clowns host a large colt leather insted...:( Even if you get them all at the same time and they are hosting in the store doesn't mean when you add them to your tank they wont find another coral they like better.

Coral Reef Aquatics has alot of ocellaris clowns.. They are tank raised and very pretty. But they are all small. I dont think they have any Adult clowns.. That said if you get a pair of juveniles they will pair up. As far as hosting a RBTA there just is no way to know.

DITTO!
I got one of those small ocellars clowns from Coral Reef Aquatics at a good price.I think he said they were cheaper by the pair.I already had a larger one that I've had for about a year. The two are best buds now!but they seem to host the corner of the tank  I would go over to CRA and get a pair of the juvenile ocellaris if I were you. They are cute lil buggers!and haven't changed yet.

i have a pair from ORA. The male is about 2 inches and the female is 2 1/2 inches. We can e-mail pictures if you are interested. Or if you would be interested in a moroon clownfish, I know of somewhere you can buy one with an anemone.
