I have a 20 gal long with sump that will be mainly SPS/clams and need a good small skimmer. How well does the nano tunze skim and is it finicky with adjustment and water level etc? It would go into the drain side of the sump which is running approx 10.5 water depth.
The water level has to be constant for good performance, about 8" is optimal. You can adjust how far you submerge it with the hanger so this shouldn't be an issue. Once tuned in, provided water level is constant they tend to be a steady performer.
