Looking for a skimmer.

Hi I'm looking for a skimmer that can skim my 15gallon quarintine tank. I had a skimmer that used to work, but my O-ring broke on the collecter's cup.

I wonder what skimmer is good for my 15gallon custom built tank? I don't want prizm or fission because I have both of them before.

What skimmer will hang on like this Prizm?

I don't know if the Tunze Nano DOC Protein Skimmer 9002 is a reliable product. Some product are flimsy, created too much micro-bubble in the tank, and or too noisy.

Do you own one?

I was think of the Aqua C Remora, or CPR Backpak 2 Reef Edition, but I'm affraid of the noise and constantly adjusting. Well the worst part I hate it Micro bubble.

If you can move the tank so the remora can hang down, buy one. I think they need about 14".

They do a good job on any nano and can be had used for around a $100.

Oh... Is it noisy? Too much bubble? Anything wrong or perfect?

not noisy at all, no bubbles at all. after about a 5 day break in, you will be pulling good tea colored skimate. it,s pretty much a plug and play skimmer, there are some air adjustments you will have to do, to dial it in.

mech, i do not have the reefpack, initial set up took a little while, i have mine attached to the lip of my tank.nanocubeboy, yes you place it in the tank.

Does anyone recommend AquaC Remora?
I heard a lot of people use it and they like it. I'm just want to be sure that I get the perfect one for my tank, even if it's a quarntine tank.

I don't know if this a lie, but one of the wholesale person told me that they are coming out a new AquaC Remora skimmer. It's a different series.

I'm not sure if it's true, but any heard about it?

They are coming out with a new Nano Remora. They have a picture of it in the newest marine depot catalog. it is for tanks from 5-25 gallons and comes with a maxijet 900. They may have a picture of it on there website as the add in the catalog says Now Available please see website for details.

i have a remora with a maxi1200 that im selling if you are interested. i have it on the back of my 24g nano cube. the maxi jet fits perfectly in one of the refug chambers. im getting rid of because im going with a bigger tank and selling the nano

Newnano? how do you install that on a cube? Do you have a picture?

The new Remora is at Marine Depot. I think you should call them instead because I don't know if they carried instock yet. I asked them about it, but The say it would be release until couple or few months.
