Looking for a skimmer!

Well we set up our tank 3 weeks ago now. We have gone thru the cycle and added the clean up crew a few at a time. Now we are looking for a skimmer. I am not sure if my tank would be considered a nano or not since it's a 30 gallon long. But I need a small skimmer for it. I thought I had found one but found out from a friend that they really don't work that well and we only left 6 inches between the tank and the wall. Any suggestions on a good one that will work. I have also been looking at he Prizm my red max i believe is the maker, but have heard that they aren't good either. I am looking for something that's not going to break the bank, but also want a good one. Thanks.

AquaC Remora would be my recommendation, although I'm not sure what your exact price range is.

Thanks. I am looking to spend between $100 and $200. The only thing I can really get around here is either the prizm, a coralife, or a sea clone. Those are a little large for the back or inside my tank tho. I looked at the AquaC Remora and it looks to be what we are looking for. Anyone have one of these that can tell me the pros and cons of them? Thanks

I just got my Aqua Remora Nano going, very easy setup, comes with a MaxiJet 900, and very quiet.

It says it takes a couple days to break in and produce, I am excited, looks like an awesome skimmer.

If you want to wait a few days I can give a better review.

I would save a little more and get a Deltec MCE300. I have one on a 20G and it pulls out dark green skimmate. I've never seen any other HOB skimmer pull dark stuff like this. But then again I've only been in this hobby since December. Good luck.
