Looking for a small adjustable speed dosing pump / help

if you know of a smaller sized, adjustable rate dosing pump, please let me know.

needs to fit under my stand in a smaller area. to be used to run my CA Reactor.

I have been using a single-
Aqua Medic SP 3000

but I need to be able to adjust the flow rate a bit slower.

also looking for one that I'm not going to have to change the tube every 3 months as I do with the AM SP 3000.

Your time and knowledge is greatly appreciated.

FWIW, Spectrapure's customer service is fantastic. I love my LM3, but yeah it's expensive.

how big is it, can it be hung on a wall?

I dont think the Litremeter is designed to be run 24/7 as a CA requires. should probabaly be looking for a industrial metering pump or a lab peristaltic pump. Lots on Ebay for a decent price.

I've looked into the "Niveaumat" system for the SP 3000 to keep a consistent level in my sump while dosing kalk for auto top-off. From what I've read, there's a silicone "grease" that is supposed to be used on the tubing to keep it from being worn out too quickly. You said that you have to replace the tubing every few months, and I wonder if it might possibly be due to wear associated with improper lubrication of the tube where it meets the rollers? I haven't heard others complain of the tubing having that short of a life, but I'd hate to find out that you're not the only one who has to replace the tubing every few months after I've bought the system...

Litremeter is not built to run 24/7? can someone please confirm that. I was just about to order one. Thanks for posting.

I have a litermeter that runs 24/7

It is not always dosing - per the instructions it divides the total to be delivered over 24 hours and doses in 150 equal aliquots

Seems great for adding limewater for topoff

great thanks.

so you think it will be good to be used for a CA Reactor?

also, anyone know what type of silicone can be used on the tubing for a Aqua Medic SP 3000 to help with wear?

It reads right in the manual that the tubing needs to be changed out every 3 months.

This is the one I'm looking at for our Kalk reactor.

It's adjustable from 0-6gpd. Not as convienent as an Innovative Aquatics IV doser, but they aren't availabe right now either...

I wonder how accurately they adjust/work at 0.9 gph and under?

might just get this one. wonder how loud it is cause my Aqua Medic SP 3000 which looks very similar has become pretty loud over time.

Aqua Medic SP 3000 seems really cheap do you think the one you found is?

Thanks,
Brent

I just ordered it. Thanks for the find!

Let you know how it is.

Hopefully not to comparable as to the Aqua Medic SP 3000, as in cheap wise.

From the pic it looks like the same mechanism as the AquaMedic but with some variable speed control.

Can't be sure but is looks like it.

I have an older InnovativeAquatics doser that I disabled the drip sensor on that I might be willing to trade you.

I just have to see if the Aquamedic 3000 will work for my purposes.
