As the title suggests, I am looking for "best practices" on how to quarentine a clam.
I purchased a large 8 inch squamosa two weeks ago at a LFS. The clam looks very healthy.
Meanwhile I have purchased a 20 gallon tank and I have a spare 250w metal halide that I can set up temporarily.
Other than that, I would like to know about what others would suggest regarding what specific treatments while this clam is in the quarentine tank. Specifically, red bug etc.
