What is a Kent Switch??

its the float switch that tells the JBJ that the water is low

I don't understand, doesn't the JBJ ATO comes with 2 float sensors? How was the Kent Float valve used?

Float Sensors
The A.T.O. is equipped with (2) float sensors that activate within seconds when your water level drops and automatically refills your sump or tank until it reaches your desired set point. Each float sensor has been designed with an exterior guard preventing snails & hermit crabs from attaching to the sensors.

I have both they are different two units. I wanted to make sure there wasnt a problem or flood so The kent was the back up.
