A2Z had something similar the last few weeks. Wanted to grab one, but have been traveling like crazy.

I wonder if these are more difficult than regular torches. A friend of mine had a nice healthy 2 or 3 head piece and it just died for no reason, it just died SPS style.

I know the orange aussie torch is in demand right now. Bringing $100+ per head in some cases. Wonder whats causing them to just die like that tho

Honestly I've only seen two in person. I do see them online for sale but I'm hesitant to spend the kind of money they want on something I can't truly see.

FAOIS has some sick rainbow torches right now and there pretty close to this. They look just like what people are calling dragon soul torches (Google if u haven't seen before). They have them on sale for 30$ her head for small and $60 for large. You won't find a better price on these. I would venture to say if u put them under all blues they look better than the one u posted. Just an FYI

I have had much better luck with the Bali torches as opposed to these Aussie ones. They have much longer thin tentacles. The colors I have been able to find are a golden one, green with purple tips, and a rainbow (basically yellow tentacles).

I pick this one up at FAOIS last week. He said it came in as a yellow aussie with white tips but was browned out. Figured I'll see what happens.

The kind of standard on top was one of my first corals. I picked up the other one about a month ago.

Here is what I have I can frag a couple heads off of, it's damn near impossible to get a picture that shows the colors. I've seen it listed as an Aussie gold, rainbow and holy grail. All I know is that it's gorgeous and looks way better then the standard Aussie gold's from last year, not sure if this is what you are looking for or not

Really hard to take pictures of the torches but you can tell the differences. Front one is the rainbow(yellow), right is the green with purple tips, left is the Bali golden torch.

Toddmau5 beautiful but I'm really looking for the short thick orange/yellow type. Reefpilot nice pics. Hopefully mine will fill in like that.

That's were I've seen them lately. I almost bought one from them a few weeks ago but chickened out. It looked so good in the picture. I was afraid it wouldn't come close to that in my tank. Now I'm wishing I went for it. It was stunning.

Sea Life Aquatics in St. Pete has them, seems kinda far from you though. Its where I got mine, currently at 4 heads.
