looking for an excuse

I'm thinking about buying a 180 I have seen in New York, but would need to sell some of the contents to justify putting a tank in storage to the wife.

I'd have about 200 pounds of live rock I'd need to move. I'd take $2.50 per pound, or $2 for people buying 100 pounds or more.

I'd have two Nova Extreme 4x54w t-5 fixtures. I'd take $175 for each of them.

A 100 GPD RO/DI unit with TDS meter. Not sure of the condition, but have no use for it at all, so I'd move it for $60.

A Mag Drive 9.5 ($35), 2 Koralia 4's ($25 each),

An ASM-G3 w/ Sedra 5000 skimmer. I'd take $175 for.

If I can get some interest in these, then I'll run up and get it sometime this weekend. If not, then I'll just wait until better times. Everything is about a year old.

alright...looks like I have a decent start, and I'm sure that I can move the lights pretty easily somewhere, so I'm going to go through with this. I'll let you all know and throw pics up, but people who post first will get first shot at everything. Prices will stay the same until I actually get it in. Those who jump on it now, prices will be locked or lower if stuff is in worse condition than I expect (all looks great from the pics, but you can never tell). It should be available Monday evening and every evening after 4PM next week.

And then I talk to my wife. I guess the idea of storing a 180 gallon tank isn't really her cup of tea, and my dreams of having this for a future setup just aren't going to materialize right now. Hope you can all find what you're after soon.

Ironic thing is that she would've let me get it if I was ready to set it up now...but I'm just not ready to do something that big and move it in a few months when we move. *shakes head* I've gotta say that she's put up with a lot when it comes to me and my reefs...but sometimes I just don't get it

waiting is probably better i wouldn't want to move that size of a tank more than once. you will find another good deal when you are ready i mean the wife lol. i have also been tagged almost a year now.

d'oh! looks like i'll be placing an order thru dr. f&s then. oh well its best to wait and see what you can do then rush into things. i can only imagine how much of a headache it would be to set up for a few months then tear down.

and i also am a newlywed. a little over 3 yrs!
