looking for an ID on a small bug

All of a sudden I've got a lot of these critters on the side of my aquarium. Doesn't seem to be a problem, but I'm wondering what they are. Some kind of amphipod? Body length looks like about 2mm.

how about a copepod i think amphiposd are usually more curled up

It's an isopod. Excellent grazers and fish food.
