Looking for an ID on the awesome deepwater

I am in debate with a couple friends over this coral. I believe it is an Acropora elegans or maybe but I doubt it, an Acropora pichoni.

On the other side it is touted as being an Acropora simplex which seems more accurate than a pichoni.

What kind of lighting and flow do you have this under? I have a small frag of something that looks very very similar.

I am agreeing with you, Acropora elegans. A very awesome A. elegans. The other two would not have the upright axial corallites. That would be the dead give-a-way.

It was the upright axial coralites that pointed me to the elegans. From memory, simplex has more of a random growth pattern and not as flat table like growth...
