looking for an old 1/4 hp chiller

Preferably free or real cheap. It does not even need to work. I prefer if it does not work at all or I will be tempeted to fix it. I am thinking of gutting it for some parts for a project I have planned. I am in central Orange County.

i have an old aqualogic 1/4 HP chiller that does not come with a temp controller. i could easily get $200 for this but would sell it to you for $100 as it's just sitting in a closet. i live in san diego but the chiller is at my folks' house in irvine. i'll be there tues.

I have a 1/4 HP Via Aqua that needs some work. I contacted Via Aqua with the error message and they said it could be as little as a loose connection from transporting but could be more. He estimated anywhere from $8 - $100 to fix. I have a guy in NY who wants it for $50 but if I didn't have to ship, all the better.

I do not need a controller, so that is not a problem, but I really do not want a working chiller.

I was hoping to find two chillers headed for the trash, I could trade some frags, pumps or something for.

Thats perfect! I will take it. Let me know if you need any power heads, 55 watt PC ballasts or anything. I just can't bring myself to tear up a working chiller. Can you bring it to the next club meeting or if you come by MD for something some time?
