Looking for beginner frags - Buffalo Area

Hey - just wanted to see if anyone in the Buffalo area had some frags of beginner type stuff :). I would like to get some zoos or xenia (sp?) as I have heard that they are good for beginners.
Next weekend my wife, daughter and I will be going out to get some clowns - my wife would like to get 3 clown fish - my question is do they all need to be of the same species or can one be different?

I have xenia and some other soft corals available; check out the frag swap thread for more info on them.
I have a mixed pair of clowns, one is a true perc and the other is a false perc. I don't think itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s a true pair though since they do not really swim together all the time or lay eggs.
I've seen other people make mixed pairs, but it's not easy. Two of the clarkii complex might pair up (yellow clowns), but it would be harder to get less closely related species to pair up. You might be better off getting two small specimens and letting them grow up together or getting a large female and adding a small juvenile.
I still want to pair up an onyx perc and a GSM clown, I'm hoping for bumblebee clowns :)

Brian - Thanks, I wont be able to make the meet but if you still have the xenia after you get back let me know and I'll get a frag from you - my first one :) and look at what you have left over :).

As for the clowns, we definatly want to get two of the same so hopefully they try to swim together, but my wife also would like to add on of the much darker (black/blue) clowns and I don't know if you can have the seperate species in the tank at the same time. I don't want her to just get it cause she likes them but then have an issue later - luckily she already knjows she might not be able to do this. I guess I found a hobby that she is starting to enjoy and look forward to as much as me :) as she has been reading a bunch of info on the clowns and the quarentine process.

OK, I'll save you a frag.

The only blue clown I know of is the Blue Stripe Clown, They look like a Clarkii, only bigger and have a slight blue shade to their stripes.

Onyx Clowns are perculas. So you could get an onyx paired up with a regular perc.

Chris, thanks for the offer - I do like you purple zoos :) hint.

I'll let you know if there is anything I'm looking for.

My wife and I decided not to go with the maroon clown as we found that they are aggressive. so I think we decided on a pair of percula or ocellaris (sp?).
