Hello everyone. I just recently decided to attempt to keep sps corals and wanted to know what everyone recomended I start off with. My tank specs are as follows:
29g
Trite:0
trate:>5
ammo:0
phos:0
ph: 8.3
Calcium:420

As far as current goes I have 2 power sweep power heads and a hob power filter with no media. For lighting I have a 175w 20k mh. For filtration I have a prizm skimmer. So far I have been able to maintain these parameters for the last 3 months. Any coral recomendations will be greatly appreciated, and if anyone has any small frags they want to sell please let me know.

Thanks,

brian

Brian, I would recommend you start with some montipora digitata or capricornus. If you could drop by the Sunrise area let me know. I will be happy to donate a small frag for you to try.

Thank you very much for the advice. I am frequently in the area too. I work in the miramar area but am mostly on the road all day generally in the ft. lauderdale area. Thank you very much for the offer, just let me know when would be a good time for me to pass by.

Thanks,

Brian
