does six line wrasse eat them?

Yes, i tried them in my tank which only had a sixline, he ate them all, one right in front of my face.

so do peppermints, most other wrasses (yellow coris, leopard, radiant etc) butterflies, angels, and most anything that picks on the rock work.

Good luck

Really? Mine never did... and my yellow coris wrasse hasn't touched them.. Interesting though! Are you sure it's not your peppermints going to town? I just bought a pair of peppermints and they cleared out my 2 nanos in a couple days (one over night!). Unfortunately when they were done and I threw them in the main tank, the trigger took THEM out in a couple of days, lol :(

I got mine from SaltyUnderground.com and the people that run it are GREAT!! I just put them in and won't see any small results for a week or more.

Instar is out of Bergs for up to 10 weeks.

saltyunderground will have some at end of April. If we buy 30 pieces, its free over night shipping and its $14 a piece. So Ill have it shipped out Friday and arrive at Fedex center for pick up at Saturday.

For my tank Ill just need 4 bergs since I have a moderate infestation.

I bought them form Instar in Texas via mail. I bought seven (two three packs + 1 bonus). I have a 225 gallon display. There may have been 100 randon aiptasia around and some were quite large. This was not enough berghia to make a dent is the aiptasia, but berghia are prolific breeders, and I am patient. I have never seen even a single one since I let them loose in my tank.

There was no effect for about six months, and them I guess the hidden berghia reached critical mass and the aiptasia noticably started disappearing over the course of 4-6 weeks. There are none left. I assume the berghia are now starving themselves out of existence.

Just one guy's experience.

this was more or less my experience in one tank, you have to wait for them to multiply.

they ate themselves out of a meal and when i broke that tank down there wasn't an aiptasia or berghia left.

the is an article in a recent advanced aquarist about culturing them. it is better in a separate container.

Whatever happened with this? We doing a group buy? I need something to get in and take out a handful of aiptasia cause they are starting to sting a couple of my corals. :mad2:

I was talking with the guy at Amazing Aquariums and he can get wrasse in that will eat aptasia - forget what they're called...fairly rare - and expensive.
