Looking for Berghia

I found a source for adult Berghia for $10.00 each plus $40.00 shipping. I'm going to make an order next Wed. so if anyone wants to get some your welcome to join in.

They eat only Aptasia and when the food source is gone they die. As for how many you need, it depends on how many Aptasia there are in your tank. They will also reproduce until the food source is gone. Hope this helps.

It does. I hate using live animals to correct a problem and then starve them but, I hate chemicals worse. Is there fish that will eat them?

Copperband Butterfly will eat them but will also eat Zoa's, Peppermint shrimp also but they too are a coral picker. Maybe someone else knows of another Aptasia predator.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice the worm to catch the fish! ;)

Aiptasia-eating filefish. I had a CBB that was a model citizen and didn't bother anything but aiptasias. It's a risk, though, just like the filefish.

I can think of a few people I'd like to shock with it.

Art, how far would 3 adults go? Think they'd make any sizable impact? I'm broke as a joke and $50 seems like the very most I could spend.

Mel, the last time I used them was when Don was breeding them. I got three for my tank and the wiped it clean.

I did the electrocution thing a few years back with simple telephone wire. It worked but some of the majanos were too hard to access. Just used a 9V battery and performed a little electrolysis but no ill effects from the copper.
