Welcome to the neighborhood...lol......we are surely spoiled with the water temps here....I lived in Maine for 5 years..in the 70's....used to scallop dive in a wetsuit...season was November through March...had to shovel the boat out of snow and then run to the dive...come up to the surface and first stage would freeze...was fun...great scallops...:lolspin:
Worst part about diving wet that time of the year up north, getting out of the water :lol:
Don't miss the cold, but I do miss fresh caught Bay Scallops. Used to take opening week of scallop season off and spend it scalloping. My old local dive shop also used to give me "cave" fills, of course I also would bring him some scallops
