Looking for Frag Racks

If you don't find extras here, most people make 'em custom from 'egg crate' and zip ties. Both are fairly cheap at the hardware store and you can make it to fit just how you want.

I use a magnet set that you can buy to attach a powerhead (instead of using the suction cups that typically come with them). They are super strong, and with a liberal amount of superglue, I attach a decent sized chunk of light diffuser. Given the physics involved with the weight of the frag plugs and the distance from the magnet, I typically make them about 10"x10" to prevent bowing or breaking the glue bond. You can fit a lot of frags on that baby - and have the beauty of being able to move it up and down inside the tank which is perfect for light acclimation.

Genious! I think I might be playing with magnets and superglue tonight. :)

It works well for me... I would caution against using the cleaner magnets that you typically find in the stores. Unless they are the rare earth version that practically will snap your finger off when they come together, the cheaper ones will surely fall off with the weight.

Also, as as word of advice, do not skimp on that glue. Cover the entire piece that you are attaching to the magnet so that it becomes one with the magnet and let it set for at least a couple hours dry before adding it to the tank to cure for another day or so underwater. From my own personal experience, I get the best results this way.

Good luck!
