Looking for some suggestions. I have a 24-gallon AquaPod that has the following set-up: 150 watt 14k Metal Halide, Tunz Protein Skimmer, CPR HOB refugium, and a kalkwasser drip system. Livestock includes, 35 lbs. live rock, assorted soft and SPS coral, Clam, False Percula clown, Scooter Blenny, Sand Sifting Star Fish, Fire Shrimp, Peppermint Shrimp, Coco Worm, Tube Anemone, and 2 dozen Hermit Crabs. The tank has been running for 5 months.
I have noticed that on some of my SPS that there has been a slow deterioration of the tissue at the bottom of the stocks. I would like to know if any one has any ideas on what could be causing this? I would also like to see what type of chemical filtration is being used. Thanks for your help.
