How old is your tank ? What are your parameters ? What is your lightning?

Haddoni carpet are not easy anemones

Tank was purchased already established, I have had it since beginning of February.
Parameters are
Cal. 460
Phosphates 0.0-.25
Nitrates. 0
Kh. 10
Nitrite. .1 or less
Ammonia. 0
Salinity. 1.025

Running AI sol whites at 50% whites and 80% blues

As tempting as the price might be on that particular specimen, I would start with something easier to begin with like an E.quadricolor (bubble tip anemone - bta).

Assuming this is your first one, carpet anemones are not easy to keep, but more importantly, your tank should be stable for several months. Anemones are very susceptible to parameter changes as well as flow and lighting. A bta is the the hardiest among the hosting anemones and a good choice if you haven't had one before.

If you've had anemones previously, then you be the judge, but you've been warned :)

This would be the first. And I do want a hardy nem. Lfs around here other than petco have rose tip bubble, green tip bubble, rock flower, and several others. Rose tips are $60-$90 and other bubbles are close to that. I'll check and see if any have bta's besides rose. Thanks for the great advice Clorox
