I'm bored with my current setup and want to upgrade to a 90g, but right now my living situation and budget don't allow that. So I'd like to improve my nanocube in some way. I'm thinking about putting a shelf in my cabinet to give me 2 areas to have additional tanks, but the only thing I can find to fit is a 10g, and I was hoping to do more than simply double my water volume. I don't know what I'd do with the 2 extra tanks except maybe a fuge and a propogation or breeding tank. I don't think there'd be room for a skimmer unless I only put 1 10g underneath - but I don't think adding 10g of water will be worth it.
I'm going to look into making an acrylic tank or see if I can find a tub at Lowes.
I currently have all my electrical stuff inside the cabinet. The switch on the side controlls the powerhead in the nano so I can turn it off for feeding. There is a door on the front of the cabinet that I'd like to keep.
Anyone have an idea to improve my setup?
