Looking for kalk reactor/stirrer/dispensor

Very simple. I have a 5 gallon bucket. Mix kalk and add to bucket. Sump has a float switch and when water level drops the float switch turns on a Tom's aqua-lifter that pulls from the 5 gallon bucket and adds to sump. Once you mix the kalk (less than max. saturation) you dont need to mix anymore.
Cheers! Mark

Can be dangerous that way. I'd rather run a timer at night and use ato for water during the day or if at night the kalk doesn't fill the sump to your desired level.

Run timer to pump/Aqualifter? How do you figure out how long to run it for?

My Ato runs flawless. I picked up a quality switch with 2 floats. When the water level drops a bit, the first switch turns on the pump and pumps kalk to the tank. The second switch over-rides the first and shuts down the ATO pump if the water level in the sump drops half an inch. This way I don't poison my tank. I also hooked up a light to the system. When the ATO pump turns on, so does the light. Makes it easy to tell if the pump is on.

Dangerous? How?

Bc evaporation is never really the same day to day. Best to figure out how much evap and use a timer to try to get to that point with multiple intervals rather than just dumping a bunch of high ph limewater into your sump. Maybe go a little less and still utilize your ato to fill the void. But if something springs a little leak or too much evap your system can be nuked by high alk or ph pretty quick. With or without a kalk reactor. I prefer this so I can control dosage.

I have a GEO Kalk Reactor that i just took off line that I want to sell. It is in great shape but the cobalt Maxijet pump needs a new impeller. $50
