Looking for LED advice, PAR 38?

I am looking at getting lighting for two tanks. I am new to LED's but would like to try an affordable option. Here are the dimensions:

22g - 23.75 X 14.25 x 14.25
12g - 15 x 15 x 13

Would a PAR38 or PAR30 bulb work for either one of these?
I am open to other suggestions as well.

You could use two over the 22g and one over the 12g. I would use par38s(using 2+ watt LEDs) with 80* optics in both cases.

Thank you for the reply. There is one for sale in the classifieds right now that is an "evilc" PAR 38 with 60* optics. Would this work over the 12g? How high would I need to keep it?
