Does anybody in the area have a MH pendant for sale? Looking for HQI or SE. 150, 175, or 250w.

Thanks,
Vishboy

Ok, just wanted to check before I bought a new one. Does anyone have any brand recommendations besides Giesseman?

Thanks

Yeah, but I don't have a lot of computer access up in Wisconsin, so I am trying to get as much done while I'm still here as I can.

I'm being a little quick about this, though. I have to slow down.

Thanks Kathy.

All I have is an extra T-5 but I'll keep an eye open for you. I got my setup on Ebay for about half of what new would cost.

What size tank do you have and what sorts of lighting are you looking for? Plug and play hood, retro, DIY?

Why are you going to Wisconsin? Lose a bet or something? Just kidding :D - we went to The Dells last year after Katrina destroyed our Gulf vacation plans. I'm bitter - Wisconsin woods don't compare to the beach...

Sounds like I am the exact opposite of what you are. I would prefer Wisconsin woods over the beach almost anytime (except for the winter. Wisconsin is a little cold then).

30Lx 12W.
MH, or if I could find a decently priced Tek T5 (I still prefer MH)
Plug and Play fixture (hang from the cieling)

What kind of T5 do you have? Do you recommend it?

Thanks

I have a Finnex 36" long (4x39w). It's better than PC's but it still limits you to what you can have. Save your money and get an MH fixture.

I take it that you want a 2 bulb fixture? 175, 250, 400?

Grasshopper, decide what you want, and I will keep an eye out for it during the summer, and if still no sellers, I can order for you so you can have it when you return.

Afterall, what are sensei's, er, fish-mothers for?

Sorry Mayo, a little long for my tank.

I want MH, but if someone has a good (more than 4 bulb) Tek T5 I would consider it. I want a single bulb fixture. HQI or SE. 150,175, or 250 watt. I would like a 250 watt, for full coverage (30inches is a little long for a 150 or 175 watt).

I am looking at this one,

Nice price, good power, good choice of bulbs for cheap.

This one is okay too,

This one would be a last resort, the-other-company-went-out-of-bussiness pendant (I've heard that the bulb is pretty funky, and I don't want to have to spend any extra on one).

They are all pretty pricy, so that's why I wanted to see if I could find a used one first. Looks like I will have to save a little money over the summer. ok, maybe a lot of money.

Thank you Kathy.

If you still want some of those xooanthids, they should be ready over the summer (maybe early July?), so you can help yourself to as much as you want.

250 W hamilton horizontal pendant.

250 W hamilton horizontal pendant.

Send me your email address and I will take some pics for you. It has bulb, ballast, everything you need it is plug and play.

open a photobucket accocunt

copy and past the img tag line---------------------------------------------------------- bottom one uder the pic and you are done

on the tank you are going to have 6 inches on both sides that would be perfect for softies

Or you can upload the photos to your gallery. Click on gallery and then upload. You might have to resize them - I don't remember what the maximum requirements are.

Ok,looks good. Could you give me the specs or a link to the product? There are a bunch of Hamilton pendants, and I can't really tell which one it is by looks. What kind of bulb it? Degrees Kelvin?

Thanks,
Vishboy
