Looking for live rock and skimmer

I have a new 29 gallon reef setup and I'm looking to fill it with live rock. I already have some in there but would like about 20 more pounds. If you have a couple pieces of rock laying around I would love to buy them off of you. I'm also looking for a good skimmer for that size tank. Does anyone have any recommendations for a skimmer? I used the prizm red sea on my last tank and wasn't to impressed. Thanks :)

I think the Coralife Super Skimmers are a pretty good value. I mesh modded mine and it became a great skimmer. At the same time, I've heard other people say they don't do well for them at all, so it seems like it could be hit or miss.

I'll check into that coralife skimmer it looks pretty good though. What size skimmer would be great for a 29 gallon reef? I'm not looking to same money on a skimmer I want one that will more than adequately take care of my tank. Thanks

How much are you wanting to spend? There are definitely better skimmers out there than the CSS models. :)

I used to run a remora on a 29 gallon. It worked well for me but it is pretty noisy if that is a concern for you. You could probably pick up one used for a decent price. I haven't looked into hang-on back models for a while and so I don't know what else is out there that could do a good job. Someone in our club got a bermuda rogue, which looked pretty promising, but it didn't work too well for him. Deltec HOBs are supposed to be nice, but they are very expensive. For a 29 gallon, I think a remora should do pretty well.

That link is to the pre-filter box. I used that on my 29 along with the remora. It helps it to pull in the surface scum and helps eliminate any microbubbles returned by the skimmer.
