So, I keep having ideas of spending time working on my tank and its equipment but in reality it isn't going to happen for quite a while. I had a sump design in mind some time ago and was wondering if anyone local would be interested doing the build. Here is a quick sketchup.
Skimmer chamber on left - fuge on right - center return (the pump goes in the void of the "L" - I'm guessing 3/8" acrylic as its a 10" water depth but I haven't really researched that.
Appearance isn't an issue and the dimensions can be pushed around some. It might wind up being price prohibitive however.
I've been trying to do what I can to get my tank onto autopilot for the next 2 years but there reaches a point where I gotta admit defeat.
