Looking for my first Oregon Tort

I have a bucket list of SPS that I need/want to own.
Top on the list is possibly my favorite coral and I have yet to get to own one.
Does anyone have any Oregon Tort that they could sell a frag of??

I do have good tip for you though. If you want to be able to enjoy the piece at some point during your lifetime, get as big a frag as possible! True Oregon Torts are painfully slow growers.

Keep checking the selling forum. Other hobbyists usually have it up for sale pretty often. It is a very slow growing acro (tort).

Good luck. This is one of my favorites too and like many of the 'old school' pieces, it's not very easy to come across these days. I'm guessing that either people aren't parting with them (possibly due to their slow growth) or supply dried up a little after the market for them crashed a few years ago.

Mine is a great grower. (sarcasm) I have a 2inch+ piece that has possibly grown upwards a couple centimeters in the last year. Lol. It has however thickened and encrusted at the base while the color has really become interesting. Mine was a pretty solid, not necessarily drab, but solid purple when I received it and now it has a very fluorescent hue around it. Hard to describe. I need to snag a pic of it soon, but my pearlberry colony is right in front of it. Good luck scoring one. Someone will have a supply!

Edit: You can barely see mine in my avatar pic. It's the little dark stick right in the middle. Lol
