looking for new ballast

I have a Coralife Aqua Light Pro 48" HQI with 2-250W DE MH, 2-96W PC and 4-1W moon leds. One of my ballast is going bad the right bulb will blink so I switched bulbs around and right socket still blinks so I switched cords from ballast to fixture then left bulb blinks. I took a look inside fixture no signs of loose or burnt wires and sockets are not broke or burnt and no burnt smell from the ballast. I saw on your site you have a Blue Wave 2-250W Remote Ballast-Dual Pulse would this work for my fixture if not which ballast would you recommend.

Hi Tim,

That ballast would work, however we have actually sold out of those, and they've been discontinued. We could get you set up with a Vertex, Icecap, Lumatek, or Sunlight Galaxy electronic ballast. The Vertex would be the most economical way to go there.

The vertex is only for 1 lamp and electronic the other ballast is an M80 so wouldn't 1 lamp be brighter than the other?

Yes, that is correct. The pulse start mentioned above is a M138, but it will still fire the lamps. IF you can find a dual pulse somewhere, that would work, although a dual M80 is best.
