Looking for pH monitor, HOB Skimmer, Controller, Tank

I'm Looking for a pH monitor with or without a pH probe,

HOB Skimmer, preferably a quite one that doesnt put out a ton of microbubbles


Controller a basic one like the reefkeeper 2 or lite. Nothing complicated.

Also if anyone has a tank with an overflow and a stand at a good price please let me know.

i've never used an overflow box, are they safe?

i remember someone telling me that they can fail more easily or something

I've never had it to lose siphon in 1 1/2 years. They do make some noise tho. It's the single tube one they have at AC.

I have a dual u-tube overflow and have never lost siphon and have turn it on and off everytime I feed corals and leave it off for a few hrs. it always restarts on its own. As long as you have an adequate return pump for the overflow you'll blow any air bubbles right through the tubes.

I used overflow boxes when I first started this and will never again. Yes most will have a problem over time. Like most things though you can always find a few execptions that have not had problems. That is why not many people use them long after they find out how easy it is to drill a tank.

What I don't like about them is they block light and make noise. Once I set it up, I never had to start the siphon again. I had heard people say you lose siphon but I still havnt figured out how (never even had an air bubble in the U tube)! Have to admit that drilled is MUCH better way of going though.

Oh, and they look stupid in the DT!
