Soft starts are somewhat complicated if you want them to be reliable and safe for the motor. A PWM motor controller is an alternative (but also expensive).
Soft starts are hard to implement on small motors (as they don't start soft, they just don't start). They also tend to creater TONS of RFI. Search the forums here, I posted a few soft start schematics (I no longer have the links) a year or so ago.
I want to try to use it on 2 or more seio 820 pumps. I posted because I can not search. I havent paid my rc support money which is due to my being poor. That is another reason I wanted a schematic rather than buy one already made. Thanks for the info though.
I don't think you're supposed to use SEIO units with timers/wavemakers. Seems like I read a thread (starts in reverse? or something...) about it and I think it's printed right on the label at the end of the cord...
Not too worried about it. I can always go back to MJ pumps. I still want the schematics, parts list, and plans. Do you always do what "THE MAN" tells you to do? LOL just a little joke!
Sorry but thats not what I am looking for, but thanks anyay.
Looking to build one similar to that of a wavemaster, Bean does know which one I want to build! Bean doesn't Bytor have one of your old models?
