Looking for prop tank / frag tank

Thanks. I forgot about Warren's rig. Nice, but maybe a little big for the space I have. I'm going to sneak this into the den and hope she doesn't notice...

4 x 2ish is what I had in mind. Maybe 10" to 12" deep.

Any other setups out there?

LOL, a four foot prop tank is going to be a little hard NOT to notice Kevin! I can see it now, "New tank? No honey, that tank has been here for as long as I can remember!" LOL

How about building one? This would be approx. $300 in acrylic from TAP, and I'm sure you can find cheaper acrylic elsewhere.

Never thought about building one... Scared to do that I guess.

Yeah Rudy, I'll be taking out a AP24g, 55g fresh, and 29g fresh and hoping the "consolidation" will be to her liking.

well, I will have a 10" acrylic saw blade for a table saw and flush cut bit for a router, along with necessary needles and weldon 4 the next week or so if you change your mind.

You may want to check with Keith (gotfin) what he'd charge to build one if you don't want to do it yourself.

Kevin, I got my frag tank 4x2x12 in glass with polished edges and a corner overflow from Keith. For mine, he's asking $500. I did see that he built a sweet acrylic tank as well, but have no idea on the pricing, or if he can cut you a deal. Good luck with convincing the other half. Been there, done that.

You can easily smuggle the tank under your coat when you come home one day. What dimensions are you looking for? Getting one built with no stand might run you a good $200 - $300
