I think I've seem it at Petsmart up north. Down the isle with the filter stufff but in the back of the shelf in a tube thingy.

Yeah i've seen it at scott's also, most stores sell it in 2 foot lengths

I'm going to start a phyto culture. I have everything AI need except the rigid tubing. I figured it would be the easiest thing to find. Go figure.

Hmmmm nice, I've thought of doing the phyto culture thing especially after last months reef nutrition talk. Kinda expensive to start and I'd hate to loose a batch. The live culture was some $$$$. If you've got a plan and would like to share it I would certainly appreciate the way ahead.

No problem, Rocmtnreef. I have already crashed one batch trying to use DT's as a starter culture. I am going to setup 4 different batches with 2 different salt mixes, and 2 different cultures to see which gives me the quickest/best success. I will start a thread maybe by the weekend with some pics and info. Stay tuned...
