Looking for Salt at cheap prices

I buy salt in large quantities on sale for my Reef. Last year on Manhattan Reef, there was a NYC vendor that would deliver to Long Island. I can't find his name.

Anyway, trying to buy at least 5 buckets of 160 gallon salt at cheap prices. As you know, even on Web, they usually try to charge for shipping.

So anyone know of any supplier on Long Island, or that will ship Salt in bulk.

So far I see 200 gallon box with free shipping for $39.39 for Instant Ocean and $36.04 for 160 gallon bucket from That Fish Place.

You're probably talking about Tito from Gotham Aquatic. I haven't talked to or heard much about him lately.
If that turns out to be a dead end, talk to your favorite LFS. In bulk, they can work with the price. IO in the 200 gallon box is the least expensive way I have found to buy salt.

Pet's warehouse blows that price away, so does Aquarium Village. Both of them are selling the 200 gallon box of IO at right about (=/- a dollar or two) 40 bux.

Have u looked into making ur own? Do a few searches, it seems easier then u would think... If its a FO I would even try plain solar salt ( evaporated seawater) after testing it on a QT tank first
