whose uses these reactors?
i'm looking for a large bag of the media...i heard you can use really large crushed coral.

please let me know...thanks

Actually the coarse Koralth is much finer than the Schuran media. I was using the coarse koralith for quite some time in my reeftek reactor...its great stuff. I am now using a schuran jetstream 1, and the media is like the size of baby carrots that you can buy in a bag pre washed. It is not only larger, but the shape is cylindrical, most pieces are 1-2" long. Customaquatic.com sells it.

custom aquatic is backordered...how long does it usually take for it to come?

I didn't know the peices were that large. It is made of limestone like the Korallith, not aragonite like ARM? Based on the price it is a little cheaper than the Koralith. I might give it a try.

It is made up of coral skeletons, I am not sure if it is technically considered aragonite, but it is not limestone. This stuff requires a lower PH to dissolve, which leads me to believe it is not aragonite.
Aquaticecosystems.com and premiumaquatics may have it. Customaquatic sells the same stuff, but it is not distibuted by schuran....generic schuran media
