Looking for SPS Colonies

Anyone have any SPS colonies for sale? Or know of a good place to buy(or have a source to ship them in)? Not looking for anything in particular, just some larger pieces.

Thanks!

I agree Gary,
or buy multiple wild colonies and watch them die a slow death in a high percentage of cases.
The time it takes for a wild colony to overcome the metabolic shift to artificial sea water and lighting(several months to a year),you could grow a known lineage captive grown seed frag to a mini colony, and much of the time, the wild or maricultured will only suddenly perish in the long term.

this is something that newbies must learn....

you don't just plop whole SPS colonies into a new reef aquarium without taking a financial bath

I have to disagree. In a mature and stable reef I have added a lot of wild and mariculture colones with great success.

Live Aquaria has some baseball sized Maricultered colonies. Careful about introducing pests this way though!

Who said this person is a 'newbie'? Why not just answer his question and keep the attitude to yourself.
nobody said he was a newbie.
Nobody was answering his question so I posted a reply.
No attitude either.
And yep... I'm a founding member of NCPARS.

So up to this point my posts in this thread have been more informative than yours.

Got anything constructive to share?

Thanks for validating my point--and so promptly!

Oh and to the original posters request, Divers Den usually has some larger colonies as does; aquasd, vividaquariums and extremecorals.

If you are still looking I have some mini colonies of purple stylo, green stylo and tricolor acros for sale cheap...between $20 and $40 depending on size. All captive grown from excellent lineage. Here is an example shot of some of the purple stylos up for sale. The green stylos are bigger than these.
