Seahorse and Wet Pets have always been good for variety, at least for me, but they are the most expensive as well.

I think they stick together when it comes to pricing so they have a control on the market. I guess you give up decent prices for variety.

thanks,

Rick

Yeah Wet Pets is VERY PROUD of their stuff. Dry goods prices are totally absurd. I stopped by their during the summer and they had a RO/DI unit for $600 that I could buy online for $100.

Their livestock is high quality. I haven't been to Seahorses for a while. The last couple of times I was there, their tanks looked bad. Hopefully that has changed.

Yea some of them are really proud and for no particular reason either. Its really a horrible hobby that way. Its too bad some of us hobbyists don't have stores. Most hobbyists are not very greedy or look to make a million when selling frags.

I would have opened a store by now but I just don't have the money nor the investors to do so. So I unfortunately am disappointed in many stores I visit because I actually looked into opening a store and found and visited potential suppliers for livestock. I know that if I were in business that I could have totally blown any store in the Greater Pittsburgh area out of the water like a torpedo hitting a submarine dead on.

thanks,

Rick

Your best bet would be picking up frags from the PMAS club members. Not many stores here deal heavily in SPS.

I was at Aquaworld yesterday and they just got a shipment of corals in. They have some SPS, but nothing that really jumped out at me.

You could call Under the Sea and see if they got a shipment in recently. Those are the only stores that regularly stock SPS.

If you are going to post in our forum we are going to need for you to spell PittsburgH correctly :)

Ray, Cut the guy a break, hehehehehe,

Undertaker, just start referring to it as the Burgh. That should make it a little easier.

Ray if you can hook this guy up, get him in touch with some of the members who keep SPS dominated tanks, that way he can say how he loves it over this way! LOL

I hope you find something nice anyway.

Then you will want to see Bob Nells tank for sure, it looks like an sps forest from what I hear.

I missed the tank tour last time but do want to go on one.
