Great chart, now I have something else to stare at and figure out where even more $$ will go.

I have an AC3... LOVE IT!
I have a DC8 and a HighCapacity DC4 for it.
I have mine connected to my network and run Aqua Notes for trending data.
I also have it send my phone Text Messages if I have perameters fall out of normal specs. It also has 2 power inputs.
Plug the main into the wall, second into a UPS. When the main power fails, the AC3 sees that power is lost and you can have it shut down all unnecessary items so that you maximize your battery life.
For instance I will have a Air pump that will be turned on when power fails...most other pumps and equipment will be shut down (skimmer, reactors, main pumps, lights, etc) This wil ensure that I have some flow and air for the max amount of time.
Of course it will text me to inform me the power is down. (you have to have your network on UPSs too)

Thanks Bryan. This was what I wanted to hear.
We've got an installed generator for power loss (2004 hurricanes saw to that) with automatic switchover so I'm not as worried about that as I am things like water floods, the tank temp going haywire, etc.
Plus I'm just nosy and want to know what's going on in my tank even if I'm 7,000 miles away in Israel =P

Bryan thanks for the suggestions. One day if it is okay with you I would like to check out your tank setups.

the AC3 allows for 2 float switches to be installed.
those can shut off a pump when whater level gets to high (overflow blocked, main about to flood) or if water gets to low (stop a pump from burning out because top off water is empty)
And you program emergency code...
if the pump is ever shut down because of these situations, turn on the Air Pump, text me, Shut off lights (nice visual clue if you walk by that there is a problem) etc...
Chrismhaase... my tank is currently empty. I have to finish many projects prior to getting water in it. I plan on having it fully running by 7/10 (my live stock arrives from CA that day
) So right now there is not much to see

I have the LightHouse that I bought from http://www.mcuresearch.com & I love it. I think it has the most bang for your buck! It has a lot of feature you would normally have to spend much more money to get. Graphs, Web stats, SMS/Email Notification, PH/ORP Control..... The list goes on & on I don't think anyone could go wrong with this unit!
