Looking for sump stuff - take 2!

I had acquired just about everything I needed to put my sump together when it became necessary to sell it due to job loss.

Since I now have reliable income, I am back on track to putting my sump together. I already have a tank I am going to use, and a pump, but need an overflow, the return piping from the pump back up to the tank, and some material to make dividers/baffles with. Once up and running, I will also need some small rubble.

I was told the pump is a Mag 7 with a 750gph. It says Model 7 utility pump. I don't know if that is a Mag 7 or not. The inner measurement of the outflow is 1/2".

Please e-mail me at luvabunny2@cox.net or give me a call at 816-4918 if you have anything you think I could use.

I can't believe there's not a single overflow box laying around somewhere that someone in this club isn't using. I'd really like to finish this project this weekend if possible. Please give me a shout.....

I am supposed to pick up everything I need to finish up my sump in the morning. Hopefully will have it running by this time tomorrow night.

I do still need a couple of pieces of acrylic, and some reef rubble. Anyone?

overflow

overflow

if your still looking for a overflow i have one thats just laying around since i switch to fw planted :) i have saltwater items just setting shoot me a pm if you still need more items

Well, in all actuality, the purchase this weekend didn't work.

I only have 3" of clearance space for an overflow, and the one I found was 4.5". Seller didn't want to separate the equipment, which I can completely understand, but I'm not moving my tank for 2" either. Sooo, I still need everything requested above.

I think the ESHoppes overflow is the one that measures 6x3x10 and will work for my system.

GS-Rock, I will send you a PM. If anyone else has any other of the above mentioned items, please let me know.

I have the special drill bit that is used to install bulkheads if you want to drill your tank. Must check to see if it's tempered glass first. I can tell you this that most tanks are tempered on the bottom

Trying one last time before I give up, sell the mag 7 and go sump-less. Seems there was some confusion on my earlier post. I am willing to PAY or trade for this stuff. I don't expect any of it to be a freebie...

I need:
both parts of an overflow / inside and outside / with the outside part being no more than 3" wide. It doesn't have to be fancy or pretty, as long as it doesn't leak.

the return piping from the mag 7 back up into the tank. I can get and do this myself from a local hardware store, but as long as I'm asking for stuff....

leftover pieces of plexi/acrylic/glass.Tank is 12" wide and 18"tall.

Rubble - I need lots and lots of it - not only for the sump, but for all these crazy frags that keep showing up loose.

e-mail me at luvabunny2@cox.net or give me a call or text at 816-4918. All 3 will go directly to my phone. If you post on here, I won't see it until I sign on in the evening, usually about 8:00.

when i get my tank moved over, i will have a ton of rubble for you. Also, if your sump is acrylic, use acrylic baffles. If it is glass I would use glass baffles. Its hard to adhere acrylic to glass. Silicone doesnt really stick to acrylic. You have to use a special "glue" that actually melts the two acrylic pieces together. I had my glass cut to size at a window store. The stuff they have at the home improvement stores isnt thick enough. (neither are their acrylic pieces for the that matter).

hope this helps
