no they are not all tank raised!!! infact you really have to watch when buying these fish. there is a virus hitting the wild populations so wild caught is not a good option. and if i'm not mistaken they are not endangered, they are threatened.....all the better reason to buy captive bred

I picked up the three(breeding pair w/ 1 offspring) from the guy in NYC yesterday. They are eating and look great.
