Looking into Reeflux 250watt DE 12k's

I am due for a bulb change and I haven't been all that happy with what I have. I am currently running 3 XM15k's. I am researching the reefluxs but I can't find much about them on Dr. Sanjay Joshi's site. I am wondering how many people are using these and what their results are like? Also if anyone has a picture of their SPS tank with these bulbs that would be great. Also if anyone else has a good recommendation I would like to see it. I am really trying to bring out the colors of my sps and still get good growth. I am using a Aquaspacelight so my supplemental lighting is poor at best.

i haven't used them but i have seen the 150 watt reeflux 12k on a relative's tank and i'd have to say they're white with a hint of blue. very bright in comparison to the phoenix 14k's he had before. however, one thing to keep in mind is which ballast you're running off of. my uncle who had them had one electronic icecap and one magnetic ballast. the icecap ballast had it yellow looking compared to the magnetic one. never seen or used the 15k xm's

I was running 250 14K phoenix, now I run 250 10K DE 10K. it's starting to break in since I only run it for a week now. 2 of my friends run 400 SE 12K and 250 DE 12K. I really like the 12K too. the color is white with blue tint. I never run XM myself so I dont know. compare 14K phoenix and 12K RF, 12K is more bright. oh, one more thing, all of us running on e-ballast.

Well seeing how there isn't much data on these bulbs I might just grab two for now and leave the center with the XM 15k. At the very least I will be able to post some pictures of the difference.

ok, I got home from work today...the RF 10K finally broke in, it's giving the white color look and no more yellow. I love them now.
