looking to borrow a pressure pump

Here's the deal, I am looking for a rather large favor. I am battling microbubbles without any success. I have replumbed 3 times and slowed flow through my sump with no success. I believe the trouble is due to pump cavitation cause by a 90 on the inlet side. Given the large size of the Sequence pump I am running, I wanted to try another pump and see if the pump causing the issue. What I am looking for is to borrow a pressure pump (>15ft head) for a couple of days to see if it makes a difference. I realize its a big favor but I am at my wits end, especially since I have dropped a few hundred on plumbing to no avail.

Did you check for a air leak on the pump. I've also gone through the 100's on plumbing to find a defect in the pump later. I gave up on the air bubbles to find salt creep a few months later around the pumps seal. Repaired it and no more bubbles.

Yeah, was chatting with Kevin, I may order replacement seals for the pump and see if that does it. I had it apart and silicone greased the orings but no luck. Its a sequence so it could be happening at the impellor seal.

I am getting steady stream of a few MBs and then small bursts. Driving me mad.

Im having the same issues too, It doesn't happen all the time. just random bursts every few seconds. Im researching a new pump :)

Thanks John, that would be a big help. I would like to try and give that Iwaki a whirl and see if it makes a difference. If it solves it, I know I need to revamp or replace my pump. I will be out of town earlier this week. I will drop you a pm and see about making arrangements.
