just looking for a little input on controllers. it doen't have to be fancy. i bascially want it as a fail safe for my heaters but would like for it to monitor PH. any suggestions would be great or if anybody had a gently used one for sale that would be great also
thanks again

I have a reefkeeperII that I love. I haven't had any problems with it and it controls heaters, fans, lights, wavemaker, pH and also will turn the lights off for you if the tank gets too hot. I took my chiller off-line when I added it, and have not needed it for over a year. It is also super easy to set up.

And likewise I would say I love my AC Jr made by Neptune Systems. Both are very similar in price about $250-$275 new and will control 8 plugs, temp and pH probe.

be sure to download the macro version of that chart...it is much easier to use for comparing just a few controllers.

Premium Aquatics has a screaming clearence deal right now on 1 Aquatronica Premium System for only $500 (reg $700). If anyone gets this and wants to expand their system, I have a new PC interface and a Salinity interface for sale.

I second the reef keeper 2. Simple and effective design. The display is nifty too. All the built in fail safes are awesome. I had mine set up in a half hour. The power port box can handle plenty of current too. Great price for what you get.
