Looking to buy a small foxface.

House of Fins on US1 and SW 144 St. has about 4 or 5 baby foxfaces (about 3 inches long) I Think they're open today, but you may want to call first to confirm.

Sorry I was going to bite my tongue and move on but I can't. You are going to put a Foxface in your RSM? They get way way too big (8 to 9") for a tank that is only 24" across. Do you have another tank or longer term plans for this fish? If not this is going to be one sad fish:sad2:
Just my 0.02

I have a 180g in the works and hopefully he wont get to 8" before I have it set up and cycled. But nonetheless, I know someone well respected in this field that has had one in his 40g for a long time and the fish is doing fine. Besides, I grew up in a 2/1 (thank God I did not have any tankmates, I mean siblings) and it gave me an incentive to get ahead and into a 2/1.5 in SWR.

A 180 would be fine. I willing to bet that the Foxface in the 40 is stunted from being in that small of a tank. But I could be wrong (according to my wife I'm wrong a lot).:p

You can tell your wife you are not wrong this time! :D I am pretty sure Carlos is talking about my Foxface, I agree that they do grow big, however, it has also being my observation that among herbivores this particular fish grow rather slow and one has the potential of completely controlling algae that no other fish will touch.
It has come the time to get him out of the tank and place him with the bigger brothers in the 210 or sell him (haven't made my mind), I plan to get another one first to replace him and under this circumstances I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone to buy one.
