Looking to trade lighting.....

I have 2x400 PFO ballasts and 1x 175 Custom Sea life ballast all 3 come with 10k bulbs.....

I want to trade these for 3x250 watt ballasts and bulbs

Any takers????

I think my tank would do better and stay cooler with 3x250 plus I want to move from 10k's to 14 or 15 k's

Maybe going with HQI's might be cooler? If the PFO's are electronic, then they'll light HQI bulbs. Or you can build your own HQI ballasts.

You can light any bulb with electronic ballasts as long as the wattage matches. Just realize that HQI bulbs will be underdriven in most cases. So the Phoenix bulbs for example will be a bit more blue then they would under an HQI ballast.
