Looking to upgrade

Well at the end of the January <My wedding is on the 24>to mid Feb I want to be upgrading my system. I think my 40 long is getting a little cramped. Till then i would like to be collecting equipment. I was looking for a 54 gallon rr.....but after Cove's bowfront disaster I think i will leave that curved glass alone. Not sure what i want . I was thinking no larger than a 75. What really makes me mad is i sold a 90 a year ago because i thought that i would never want a tank that big!!!!!!!

But anyway this is what i have so far to transfer:
2X 175w MH using m57 ballasts
2x 4ft ft vho actinic
Euro reef cs 100 skimmer
Sump and fuge w/light
tunze 6025 and korallia 1
75Lbs of rock
Sand bed
All the livestock

This is what i need:
TANK and Stand Would love RR
Return pump
another overflow box if not RR
Reflectors for MH
koralia Magnum 5

I am sure that there is more that i will need . I f anyone has any of this please let me know. Also If anyone needs a Windshield or other Type of Auto Glass i would love too trade my services for equipment as well. I will be at the meeting on the 16th.

Thanks
Jake

Keep your eyes out for an Oceanic 58g RR great tanks, I just picked one up for $100 cherry trim tank, cherry stand, 20L sump all in excellent condition but took some cleaning, I have seen some of these tank stands here on RC similar for around $200 lately

I don't think any tank is ever large enough. You will always want something bigger once the new tank is setup and in place with livestock in it :) Just go as big as your budget will possibly allow for and tell yourself you have done the best you can do hahahahahaha.

I am more interested in what my floor can handle..........................But if i could go 220 with a 200 gallon sump/fuge/growout system and a euro reef rc 1000 skimmer etc etc

Just a note, that was Murphs205 that had the bow front blowout. I was just trying to get him some help. My reef is a 220 Perfecto.

This is maybe out of line as I don't know if he wants to sell any of his tanks. But I was up at Joe22883's house today and he has I think over 10 empty tanks in his place. If you contact him, he might want to sell you one of those tanks. Hey Joe if you read this, its just a suggestion. Don't know if you want to get rid of any of those tanks or not.

OOPs about the blowout misprint......I guess when u read so many forums they all get a little blurred. I dont know if i want to bug someone about their tanks if they did not offer. But thanks for the heads up.

I haven't heard of any mishaps with the All-Glass curved front tanks. That one was an Oceanic bowfront. The All-Glass Corner tanks are great for aquascaping IMO. There is a some nice depth to them and they look great without taking up too much real estate for their volume.
I have seen some nice looking 54g corner tanks and the 92g can't be beat in my opinion. The 92's are 4 feet wide and 34" from front to back with a 24" height.
The hardest part is getting a nice sized sump under them. I solved that problem by running the plumbing downstairs to the big sump/fuge in the basement. Then you get all the pumps and noisy equipment out of the living space too.

Can YOU ask my wife if i could cut some holes in my brand new pergo?

Ahhh Grasshopper so much to learn ;) You don't ASK anything... you just let them enjoy the quiet tank and only mention it if there is no other option.

My wife saw me with a holesaw cutting the plumbing through to the basement and said, "Oh boy what are you putting there now?"

I just had someone over tonight that couldn't believe the tank was running and had 800 gph going through the overflow.
