Hi all,

I was looking to set up a nano reef for my kid, and I was wondering if you had any thoughts on an all in one set up.

I like the fluval edge and the chi

The coralife bio cube looks cool. I don't want to do a lot of DIY, and I'm looking to keep it 20 gallons or under... Would love some suggestions

Innovative marine makes some cool all-in-one nano tanks. While I haven't owned one, I've seen some very impressive IM builds. There is a lot to pick from though :D.

I've also been eyeing a Red Sea Reefer "Nano" (which is stretching the Nano definition). Its more of a frame where you can add the parts (pumps, lights, skimmer) you like.

So I bought one, went to get dogfood at Petco and they had this "Aqueon 15 gallon column" setup.

Delux my rump. It's a tall tank and I think it's going to be a struggle, but hopefully worth it. it came with a very weak filter and light kit. I upgraded the filter to an Aquaclear, HOB and a stingray LED 10 inch light. I unscrewed the light fixture and placed the light in the area where it was, clasped in the little plastic light cover and boom... Let there be light.

Filter hasn't arrived yet.

Anyone have any good suggestions where you can get decorative frag holder decorations?

Any suggestions on what fish to put in there with a coral... It's for my kid so of course I will have a pair of clowns, I also wanted to add a valintini or saddleback puffer...

Maybe a blenny? or a sand sifting goby, It will have 30LBs of live sand in there?

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Cool thanks!

The setup was $50 bucks, I had to get it! I figured I'd use it as a quarantine tank in the worst case scenario.
