looks like cyano, but...

A guy I work with was telling me and showing me picks of what looks like cyano but he swears its not. Says hes running gfo, has tried chem cleN and red slime and nothing works. From his cell phone pictures it sure looks like cyano. Is there anything else that it could be.

Agreed. The pic he showed me has cyano, but he swears its not even tho everything he says about it points to cyano.

GFO has no great bearing on cyano. He can run it and run it and a) it saturates and b) phosphate is not the main thing cyano uses for fuel.
