I bought a used 6045 and I've noticed that the powerhead isn't tight to the bracket/clamp that holds it to the magnet. It moves very free so since this is my first Tunze I was wondering if that is how they are suppose to be or do I need to get a new bracket or something else?

It should be tight enough that it doesn't move on its own. If the pump is failry old it may have the older Lexan clamp that may have a crack so that is why it is loose. If it is a newer pump, the clam will be Luran and it is more flexible. I would try squeezing it. If it is Luran it will give and you can reshape it inward slightly. If it is Lexan it will break and we can send a new one.

I did try to squeeze to to be tighter but it just went back to where it was. Maybe I need to go farther with it and if it breaks it breaks.

Roger I squizzed the clamp together and it seems to be holding firm. Thanks for your help. I sure like the Powerhead, I think I will be buying another. Mark
